I also measured placement of the decals on the J&B car. As you look from the side of the car, the bottom front corner of the decal is 1 1/8" off the hood and 1" from the front of the hood scoop. The front opening on both the original metal scoop and my fiberglass Apollo scoop are slightly angled forward from the hood surface up to the top of the scoop.
