This is a hew strategy for getting rid of your used tires https://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/zip/d/rochester-free-one-tire-for-project/7277531733.html Gave me a chuckle figured I'd share Regards, Jim
My plan is to put tubes in some big old Michelin truck tires and put on 2 pilings and connect with boards to make a floating dock that goes up and down with the tide.
Add a rope , you got yourself a swing. Call it the Retro 50's Backyard Swing and sit back and wait for the orders to come piling in..... Lol, Jim
https://cen.acs.org/articles/91/i43/Tire-Inferno.html Better that this guys idea . I delivered a 3M Product called " Lightwater " to this site when I drove truck . Unloaded the entire load from 1 gallon containers to 5 Gallon pail to 55 Gallon drums at the base of the tire pile with flames 15 feet away . EVERYONE was there . Coast Guard , Army and Matlack , the pipeline on wheels . Trucks filled with the product were sent from as far away as Chicago and Atlanta from 3M warehouses
Lots of farmers around here will take them. They need a lot of them to hold huge tarps down on silage and other piles.
