Such a huge loss.....Peter Simpson has passed on.

Owen and Eric Simpson just called to let me know that their dad Peter, passed away moments ago after succumbing to complications from surgery. I'm at a loss for words right now but please include them and their mom Vicky in your prayers. RIP Peter....I've been blessed to have had you as a great friend.

 

I am deeply sadden to hear this terrible news. Simpson family, Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for your family.

 

I can't think of the words.. Just heartbreaking, such a good man and so young. Condolences and prayers to the Simpson family.

 

Oh no, This is so sad. We lost one of the good guys. My deepest condolences to the entire family. R.I.P. our friend.

The news fills me with such a profound sadness. Humble and sincere condolences to the Simpson family.
Peter was a good man and a kind soul who will surely be missed by so many.

 

That just sucks. I was surprised to get the word.

The first race I went to in 03 was Martin, I pitted next to Peter. I could tell he was one of the good guys . Over the years I've come to respect him a great deal. I will miss him. Racing won't be the same without him.

I got nothing............. you get to know so many people as this planet spins through the heavens, and everything I knew about Pete had me convinvced he'd be back dispensing wisdom this summer.

I am glad to have called him a friend. I am glad to have seen the pride in his face as Eric and Owen grew into fine young men under his guidence. He made the world a richer place with his presence and he will be sorely missed.

Here is to a life, while too short by any measure, that was surely well lived.
