I broke my finger for the first time. Now I know what a broken bone feels like. Anyway, about a month ago I bought 3D printers (2 of the same on sale) and have printed a variety of functional parts from Spa jets, to soldering tools, radio switch selector for the Riv, side marker lights for the Riv(in progress) and now a splint for my finger. I absolutely hate that medical tape and even the soft bandages that are slightly sticky. So last night I took 30 seconds to design with the measurements of my finger and 25 minutes to have it printed. Slept with it on, it was fantastic not having to be overly careful not to bump my finger - the night prior with a soft bandage I manage to hit it some how and well no sleep followed. I did print the splint a little longer than needed and heated to better form and trim. see picture.

HAHAHA! your first broken bone? Wait until Uncle Arthur comes to visit... (Arthritis, in case you didn't know) Even worse is when you can tell the weather is going to change.
