Hi guys, looking to improve performance on 68 skylark with rebuilt high comp 350-4, th375 tranission with stock torque, lunati #10920701 cam ( adv dur 256/262 , lobe sep 112 , rpm 1300-5500), 3.42 locked diff. I'd like to know if getting a higher rpm converter would help or should I stick with the stock converter?

Yep a 2500 will keep your motor in the right rpm range when your hamming it.
