Transmission ID help

    Need some help identifying this tranny, I didn't come up with much on a search. Numbers read 78 BB 48974 411 on top. My 69 442 is supposed to have a th400 with 2300 converter but I see this tag on the side of the trans. She runs good but curious to what it really is. thumbnail.jpeg

    78 BB came behind the 350 in the Electra and Riviera in 1978.

    No, I can see the bolt on governor cover, the governor cover for the THM350 is on the other side and is press in with a clip.
