    Hi there

I`m planning on putting 15x7 steel wheels on my 1971 GS, Buick dog dishes and trim rings...seen this a couple of times, liked the look. Do you know what would be a good available reproduction trim ring that would come close to the original look? What kind of edge design?

    Thanks

    Jens

Try SS396.com. There were a few edge designs. I have a set of NOS I'd sell - Doubt you want to pay that much but msg me if int.

Yep, they shared the same number as the chevy rings. Personally, I like the non trim ring look.

    Larry,
For Buicks none of the 14” rims with dog dishes came with trim rings.

They were only available on the 15” rims.

    Hi Duane

exactly the ones I`m looking for, 15". CJay, I know, you don`t see many people riding the dogdishes with trim rings...I like it though, has kind of a fifties vibe to it I think.

Thanks for your help and input, guys

And the Odd Ball 68 wheel with chrome plated center and trim ring. I have those on my 68.

    Larry,
Quite a few of the optional 14” Buick rims came with trim rings, but the 14” steel rims with the dog dishes only had the hubcaps, and the wheels were either body color or black.

The 15” steel rims with the dog dishes did come with the trim rings. I had a 70 Stage 1 4-speed car that came with them.
