me and homedepot steve. are looking for a room as well from florida to Stanton.it seems the uncomfortable inn has some 20 rooms saved for a wedding party the week of 12 th and 13th.Chris
That rat hole of a Hotel needs to not bite the hand that feeds it once a year. Who do they think they are renting rooms to non-racers:laugh:
Our room got pulled for Friday night, said they had us only Thursday !!!! That $hit hole is on my last nerve... They made us pay in full with credit card in January. And now no record of payment or Friday night. Been staying there forever , this will be the 17th year (since 98 ) and think im gonna explore other options
That's probably more true than we would like to admit.. Maybe it's time to start camping at the track. That place is a total dump. There hasn't been a single dime put into that place in several years. Might be time to research a different place as "host" hotel of this event. I almost feel sorry for this wedding party....they aren't ready for what is about to fall upon them. Bride to be will probably deliver a Canadian 9 months after the parking lot party!:laugh:
The other dump across the street next to the big boy is just as good/bad, I got 4 rooms a week ago and did not have a problem. They both suck, but at least they do not make you prepay.

Funny you say that Dave... Rhonda and I were just thinking about selling our camping trailer and picking up a used one we know of.. sick of dealing with the stupid games at that hotel.. Found a short little bugger with a big diesel :]
