    ...rear bumper end look like '61, I remember first time I opened trunk:eek:. The '66 Galaxy in movie "Wonder Boys" wasn't even close, for anyone remembering tuba, suitcase, dead dog, and garment bag quote:)...

    A rocket ride like that used to be at Knoebels in PA back in the early 60's. I was too young to go on it. I do remember seeing it going from horizontal to almost vertical for the ride. After only a few years in 1964 they converted it into the slide in the photo. Still around but it has been downgraded to a slow slide for the kids and moved into the kiddie area. Not very nifty looking now.
