Took her out for a test drive even though the streets were soaked. Took it to autozone to pick up my diff cover gasket and the cute redhead, Bree, came out to check out the X . She really talks me up when in in there
I did manage to do a few things today.. Took the rear bumper off and turned the harness around Im not sure if this is over the top, but I sourced original, factory GE 1157 bulbs out of a few original harnesses I had in stock. Went around and polished off a little more of the touch up paint. The mechanical advance started coming in around idle speed. I swapped one silver spring for a gold spring. Didn't really check it with my timing light afterwards but the it idled back at 700 afterwards Polished out the door jambs and the tilt and directional stalks
I just gave it a light polish. I didn't go nuts on it. The old one actually looked milky. You could hardly see through it
