Can anyone find me a set of retainer hardware to install a set of upper reveal molding on the 70-72 Skylarks. There were stainless bright molding that went on both doors and quarter panels. I will be adding this to a car that did not have them from the factory. I see there are sellers that have the the little stud to hold the plastic retainers on.
I spot welded the studs for the reveal molding using a harbor freight stud gun and a modified eastwood trim stud tip. works well.
In your other thread, I'd mentioned that I have the correct clips for the doors (NORS Auveco - both types that are req. - 5 that slide onto the studs & 1 that takes a screw) but you didn't seem interested. $25 shipped for all 12. Those clios afaik are both discontinued from GM & Auveco. Once I get going on taking apart a Skylark I have here I'll figure out a suitable replacement for the quarter panel clips and then can put complete kits together.
