I spent a lengthy time on the phone with John today about rebuilding my carb. I am very impressed with his knowledge, not only of Q jets but of the entire ignition/fuel system. He asked a whole lot of questions so that he had enough info to build my carb properly. Things like cam, compression ratio, intake, headers, exhaust pipe size, transmission, rear end gearing and even the height above sea level! He then went on to tell me about ignition wires, spark plugs and timing settings for my engine. Needless to say that I boxed up my carb and sent it to him this afternoon. His price is reasonable also..approximately $270 and he didn't even want full payment in advance. Harvey

Q-Jet replating Not to hijack the thread, but does any one know if can Osborne replate Q-jets? Thanks
I will second that statement. He's been great with me. I only wish I lived closer so he could set up everything on my engine! Harvey
