I finally found these clips for my 69 GS350 hdtp that Dad bought new. It originally had a vinyl top & 20yrs ago when I did a repaint I kept the trim & painted the top. Now I'm ready for a 2nd repaint & I plan on putting the vinyl top back on & where the studs had been were filled in & the paint is bubbling here & there. I guess I can lay inside trunk & pickout the original holes! I'm 70 yrs old - whose helping me out of trunk, or do I need my engine hoist?

The st/st trim 5 pcs cleaned up like new & I bought 12 nylon clips (I think the originals were metal) from the Parts Place in Chicagoland. They fit the 1/2" wide trim nicely & my body man says he can studweld new studs but I don't know ow many? i'm thinking I need more!

There's a 72 Chevelle in the shop & it has studs about every 4" (I'll measure) & it also has 1/2" wide st/st trim but a different configuration.
Does anyone have info? My Fisher Body repro manual doesn't show any details!

    Thanks, Fred
