    There is a "fun" event scheduled for Friday October 22 at Norwalk drag strip put on by one of the Ohio Musttang clubs. It's called SMACKDOWN IX. It's open to all domestic brands, meaning Buick, Mopar and Chevrolet.

    It's a test and tune affair that lasts till 4 pm when the regular Norwalk Friday night program starts. Might be a fun time to race a bunch of Furds that wont come out to play at the pure stock and F.A.S.T events.

    Good chance to smack down some Fords. :grin:

    I'd like to see some FAST Fords. There was a beautiful red '69 Mach 1 with a Boss 429 in it at Commerce this weekend.......but it was only entered in the show. :rant: :laugh:

    There was also a very nice red 65 Fairlane GT or GTA convertible in the staging lanes when we qualified. One of the few Fords I really, really like.
