Is there a guide or reference to get my 1971 GS 350 quadrajet back to stock condition again. I have changed jets, metering rods, secondary rods, power valve and spring, etc. over the years and am not sure where I am at anymore. I would like to get it running better and would like to start from the base setting.

    Carl,
Had mine rebuilt to stock by Jim W. a couple years ago. He installed #68 jets, 42B metering rods & BS secondary rods. Bolted it on out of the box two years ago & haven't touched it. Working like a champ.
Tried one on my own last Winter. Followed the same #'s & learned a whole bunch along the way. It's done & looks real pretty. Haven't had it on the car yet. I'll need at least one day, maybe more to learn how to set-up & tune these things.

Just check the carb section of the 71 service manual as it gives all stock specs including jets and metering rods for each number carb.

Thanks for all the replies! I am going to take mine apart and check to see what I have and go from there.
