Wanted: ‘70 Black deluxe 2-door front door panels for GS - trim code 188. Need to be for manual windows and manual locks. Looking for a nice set of used original front door panels to install on a survivor ‘70 GS. I considered buying a set of the reproduction door panels from Legendary which are very nice but they would look out of place among the rest of the original interior in this car. So I'm only searching for original door panels at this point. Someone installed 6” round speakers back in the 70s in the original set on the car ☹️
I have this used set i took out of my car. The bottom could use some attention. I used black tape years ago.driver quality. $100 for the pair plus shipping.
I have a set also, but don't remember if its any better then the ones from Dan.Will let you know.Bruno.
Thanks for the responses guys. I’m looking for the ‘70 deluxe interior (trim code 188) that look like these, except without a hideous speaker. Funny thing, the car still has the original AM radio, so these speakers were added early on.
Dan’s are the “Standard” interior door panels. Gary is looking for “Deluxe” interior door panels like the ones below.
Hey James, those will work for me. I’ll send you my address. Maybe include those seat covers too. Thanks buddy.
Still hoping to find a nice set of original front door panels. '70 model, black deluxe code 188, with manual windows and manual locks.
So I'm confused... mine are standard in black and the other picture is a deluxe. Which one do you want? If standard interior, are you interested in mine?
I'll try this again. If anyone has something You don't want, I'm interested. Tired of cutting my arms on the bare doors.
Dan Zepnick is interested in selling his black panels that are shown in post #2 above for $100 + shipping if you are just seeking something to cover a bare door.
Hell the speaker hold the panel down against the door. After a few years they lift there anyways. Good luck.
The speakers were installed by the original owner prior to 1982 and do not work now. So if the speakers are going to be there I might as well make them functional and enjoy blasting the AM radio again. The car is a matching numbers, survivor-type car with faded original paint so the speakers aren't the end of the world but I would just prefer to not have them.
