Well now. I guess that explains the green tint on my sneakers.

Have had this silly thing bypassed for like 3 years.
I can be a proper procrastinator at that.

It was much easier to re-install once the holes in the firewall were drilled out a little bit though.

Ancillary, I have come to find that the skylark was just an afterthought. You see, the engineers first had this killer idea for a heater core, and then built the whole car around it.

Nice! Where did you get the new core from?

I picked up the heater core a few years back from Napa. It has been siting on a shelf gathering dust while I have been busy working.

(Napa has this pretty cool parts system where almost everything can be brought up on a monitor in picture form. You can be fairly sure of what you will receive before you order it.)

I'm just glad to finally have the time to get it into the car.

Heater cores are readily available at most auto parts stores. The problem is that most auto parts stores dont know they are available. You have to tell them.

I found this out about a year ago when I did the heater core in my car. All I heard was that it wasnt in the book and it wasnt available. I did my own research and got a part number which I provided to the auto parts store. All of a sudden, it was available! :Dou:
