I've got a 1962 Skylark, 215, 4bbl (Rochester 4GC/4 Jet), and a manual transmission. The carb on the car *may* be the correct or original, but there were a couple of years it wasn't in the family. The current 4GC tag has 7020045. This could be the correct number/carb, but I'm trying to be sure. If I remember correctly, the odd number last digit does coincide with a manual transmission. But I'd like to be sure with the variety of numbers that my car could have come with.

Be aware that there are quite a few part numbers that end with an "odd" number that are not manual transmission carburetors. Oldsmobile was the worse for this as most of their "253" carburetor were auto transmission, not manual. The most common examples are the Q-jets used on the late model Pontiac Trans Am's that came with the 403 Olds engine. They will end in "253". An example is 17059253, 1979 Olds 403 auto transmission used on the Trans Am engines.......
