what size and lenth bolts for Q-jet

    Hi I am changing over to a Q-jet carb and need to know the size and lenth of the 4 bolts from carb to intake.

    The front bolts are just under 4" long, the rears are about an 1". Both have 3/8 coarse thread. The front bolts are only threaded the last 1". Hope that helps

    Sorry to correct you, but, the bolts are 5/16 coarse thread.

    Length is correct.

    Thanks Jim,
    I went out and grabbed a bolt, and used my tap and die set. The 3/8 die seemed to thread on, but was a little loose. 5/16 it is.

    Thanks guys! I have another question for you I have an aluminum intake on my car what can I do with the choke for the Q-jet my old carb had electric any way to convert it? I don't think the intake has the heat rod and spring any suggestions would be great.

    depends which intake it is. If it's a B4B or Performer, there is a chevy thermostatic choke coil that fits. Don't know the number, but if you do a search on here it should turn up

    It is a poston s divider for a 350.
