I have 2 71 350 motors that have been sitting awhile and they seem to be stuck and not able to turn the motor. I plan to rebuild either one that I can get unstuck. Years ago,my dad used a concoction of transmission fluid and brake fluid. Anyone have a better idea??

There's only one potion- acetone and tranny fluid. 50/50.

Check out Jennings Motorsports on YouTube. That guy gets engines unstuck that have been sitting outside for 50 years

I am close to that. Mineral spirits and automatic transmission fluid, old school Dexron, none of this new hybrid fru-fru juice.

When a motor is stuck, it’s gently telling you to take it apart.

Even if complete disassembly is planned, I would think a rotating assembly would be one's preference.
