I want to send my Q-jet to get rebuilt for my 455, while my engine is at the machine shop. Who is the best around? I need to sqeeze every bit of power out of my GS.. There's Mopars knocking at my door...................
Vin, Do a search on the board for John Osborne. He seems to be the go to guy for Q-Jets and his turnaround is pretty quick. As for price, you'll have to work that out with him. Hope that helps.
To get the most power out of a Q-Jet, I would highly suggest Cliff Ruggles. Prices are extremely reasonable; turnaround isn't (although it is less than ours). Cliff is consistantly beating highly modified Holleys and Demons on back to back dyno tests. Some Mopars are pretty tough! Jon.
