I have a 1970 convertible that I am considering using a replacement quarter panel. I have a couple questions. First off, who makes quality panels? I see some advertised on Ebay by Motor City Hi Performance. Also, are there any design differences between convertibles and other body styles? In other words, do I need convertible only parts? Who makes quality panels? Nobody. Unless you are using original NOS parts then they will need to be tweaked to fit. In addition, character lines on reproduction sheet metal tend to not be as sharp as originals. I've been doing this a long time and get lucky every now and then and get something that actually fits, but most need extra finesse. Unless you are replacing full quarters, the panels will be the same for a convertible as they are for a hardtop. Bill
