I haven't owned a Dodge since I inherited my grandmother's 1953 Coronet in 1970. Looked like a Checker Taxi and drove like it too.

These Challenger Hellcats coming out look pretty incredible. Even a run of the mill RT looks good and reasonably priced.

Pros and Cons to buy one?

I reckon the state troopers will have some Hellcat Chargers coming out in Q1 2015. By 2017, imagine buying a good used state trooper hellcat Charger with police tailoring. Will be pretty awesome, you think?

PROS; If you have the bucks to buy one you can take the same money and buy a really nice vintage GS
    Cons;It is a Dodge
P.S. no hate mail please, I just hate to sit in anything that ain't a Buick:)

That car is bada$$! I would love one if I was a wealthy man...The down side tho is that I think the Challenger body style is rather blah. But I'd still take one. You can also get it in a Charger. But then again its a 4 door.

I actually watched the whole video lol!! Looks hard to fly imo.

As far as the car goes, I'd def get 1 if things were different. Not a mopar fan by any means but come on, that's a lot of car.

I think every brand has it's good and it's bad cars. I'd buy a Hellcat if I could.

WOW. that is bad-ass. Awesome niche marketing to the likes of us too.

Shame it doesn't have the WILDCAT body..... those Challengers and Chargers are too small for me...

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Oops, I just read this thread because the title made me wonder if the guy who married my exgirlfriend posted it.

Seriously, that engine would make me want one. But, I would want to drive one first to see if I liked the rest of the car.

I love Buicks, but in no way do I have an allegiance to the Buick name so much that I would buy one just because it's a Buick. Especially when you compare the way these 2 cars look. I mean really, is there a comparison? LOL The Buick looks like a repurposed econobox and the Hellcat looks like a pure breed ass kicker.

Id like to see the drive train put into a Prowler. Orrrr bring back the magnum and put the Hellcat power in that.

The car has too much power. Yes there is such a thing. It's one thing for a professional racer to drive something like that on a track. It's another for some guy to plop down his money and drive off the lot. You have to know how to handle that kind of power. I've already read a story about some guy who totaled his hellcat on the day he took delivery.
