Will a BOP th350 bolt up to a 1961 Buick 215 v8

    does anyone know if the old powerglide have the same bolt pattern as the the BOP th350 and th400.

    BOP th350 to 215 V8:
    Not with out an adapter. However, they are made. Look for site that does 215 V8 work.

    If I remember correctly, the 215 aluminum "seize happy" V8's had the old nailhead pattern of 57-63. If so you may be able to bolt a 65-66 ST or SP400 to the block with a little flexplate to converter work. But you may not get the performance, since the 400's were demanding of good low end torque and didn't work well with smallish engines.
