If I remember correctly, the 215 aluminum "seize happy" V8's had the old nailhead pattern of 57-63. If so you may be able to bolt a 65-66 ST or SP400 to the block with a little flexplate to converter work. But you may not get the performance, since the 400's were demanding of good low end torque and didn't work well with smallish engines. :3gears:
