    Gday from downunder,

Will a TH400 fit into my chassis? It currently has a TH350 in there.

I was going to say "probably" until I looked at the pictures. I didn't realize it wasn't a stock frame. I can't really say.

I think the TH400 is slightly larger than the 350, but you don't seem to have a lot of space.

I'm sure you'll get an answer here, but you might want to post the dimensions between all the frame rails (in inches if you want to be nice :) ). Tell us what you're using it for too.

HArd to say for sure here. The biggest thing will be that the rear mount on the t-400 is about 5 and a half inches further back. Looks like your mount is not moveable. I think width waise would be no problem, also remember the 400 has a vacuum modulator out the side. Jim Burek

Thanks for the info. Will be using it as a street/strip rod. Will have 650+hp with sheetmetal rearend with full floating hubs 35 spline axles. Undecided on cui (BBB)but will run sheetmetal tunnel-ram with twin fours. Figured I have beefed up everything else so thought going to TH400 switchpitch would be a good idea to give me that added insurance and streetability. Jim, i can relocate the mount to the rear of my crossmember if required.

You should be able to do it, if you want togo s-p , you will defiantely want a converter with a steel turbine hub inside, youwill break the stocker. We offer that as a $35 upgrade on our converters. Jim Burek
