I'm looking for a good reproduction pice of trim for the upper portion of the winshield on my 71' Skylark GS. Year One has a repro but it has a defect (they say it is a little short) so thats not going to work. Does anyone know if the trim is the same for a Chevelle or GTO or Cutlass?

The trim should be the same for all A-body's, Is this for a HT or Conv. because they are different. I know there aren't repro's for a convertible.

Thanks for the reply. I guess its worth $50 to find out; NPD has them. The car is a HT.

original parts group has them too... not sure of the quality and i was considering getting them in the future.. window trip, and door drip moldings as well.. mine aren't bad but have scuffs and a few dings and dents... not sure if i could make it look as good as i'd like by working with it but we'll see. i appear to have all the parts just a matter of fixing it maybe.. let me know how it goes.

I went ahead and ordered one from NPG i'll let you know if it was worth the price. I was going to try and take the dings out of the original but there were too many another thing i learned is that there is a difference in the length between a four door model and a coupe the coupe is ~ 1" longer something to keep in mind when going to a salvage yard or buying a used one.

Could have also tried GM, I ordered a complete set (less the bottom one) last year for my hardtop.
