Hello, I am currently replacing my powerglide with a 2004r that i recently got for my 66 lesabre and i am wondering how to wire the lockup. I understand that a common easy method is with a toggle switch and a cruise control brake switch. I would just like to have it lockup in 4th. I am curious whether to run constant hot to the tranny and switch the negative or to ground the tranny and switch the positive. Lastly i was wondering which terminals do what on the plug ( Photo attached). I can provide a picture of the internals of tranny if it helps determine how it is internally wired. Thanks for the help

The converter is lock up or non lock up. All OEM 2004R transmissions out there come stock with lock up converters as yours should be.
