    It's Cursed!!!

A couple of years ago I had Brian do a tranny for my 55 Chevy. You may remember as he carried it to my trailer in Norwalk, he slipped and almost cut off his fingers. One is still screwed up. Anywayz, I got a 16 year old that has been working on this Monte since December of last year, so to say he was disappointed when his tranny went south, would be a understatment! I still hav'nt got my 55 altogether, so I decided to grab that tranny and we would stick it in the Monte. Long story short, the tranny came down hard on my finger and cut it deep!!!! I am gunna beat the $hit outta this tranny. It is cursed!!!! Anywayz, it's in, so Stanton here we come!

    Motor's In

The motor is in the Judge and took it for a shake down run last night. Seems ok, we will have to see if it runs at the track. Sure wish the 300 lb lighter T/A was done. This old girl has never come in under 4000 lbs and it gets heavier every year...

I sure hope my car is running tomorrow, I might have gotten a little carried away tuning it.........

Finally got my exhaust replaced and the car put in the trailer. 4 hrs of sleep, then 14 hrs of driving tomorrow, and presto, a different color bass boat at Stanton this year. Have a safe trip one and all, will see everybody on Friday. :3gears:

    11th hour problems

I can't get the accelerator pump to seal. First it was a bowed pump cover, then a stripped pump hole in the bowl. Replaced the bowl and pump cover from a spare carb and now I've got leaking again. Gonna have to hit Bob K. up for that offer of help. Tom Cannon are going to try and hook up on the Pike to caravan up.
    See ya later today.
