The car is in great shape to go cruise or if you are looking for a really clean car for a full on restoration. Car runs and drives great, white with crystal pearl and a heavy flaked silver roof. Has some great looking pinstriping as well. An awesome period style cruiser for sure. Willwood disc brake conversion on the front power brakes, power steering all work great Engine and transmission are original and operate great. Dual exhaust 401 nailhead two speed buick trans Coker white walls on chrome wheels with bullet caps. Aluminum three row radiator Head gaskets, intake gaskets, water pump & gaskets a year ago New fuel pump eight months ago New rear wheel cyl. and brakes a year ago Spot lights are dummies Lake pipes are dummies Shaved door handles with poppers Frenched antenna at rear 58 Buick grill Custom two tone pleated interior including a matching pleated headliner. Has a one inch stitch tear right on the seam on driver seat. This car is a custom survivor from years ago, I have some poloroid pics of it when it was first done and driven from california to the midwest. The car has great history. In a nut shell the car is healthy, it has a few leaks but nothing excessive. Steering box drip Trans drip Oil pan at rear drip "rope seal" seems to go away if you drive it regularly None of these make it un drivable or have to constantly watch them. Simply put I want a new toy. I love the car, enjoy it every time I drive it. It is a head turner and quite rare. Pretty much the only one at most big car shows, I have read that there are less than 5,000 Invictas produced. Feel free to ask questions you have. I am not really looking for a trade. And also in CA: http://davidsclassiccars.com/buick/30736-1961-buick-invicta-bubbletop.html 1961 Buick Invicta Bubble Top Make: Buick Model: Invicta Type: Coupe Year: 1961 VIN: 6H2010197 Color: Tan Engine: 401 Cylinders: 8 Transmission: Automatic Drive type: RWD Interior color: Burgundy Vehicle Title: Clear Item location: Vista, California, United States 1961 Buick Invicta Additional Info: I apologize i needed to revise my listing and the new Ebay format does not allow it? I am selling my 1961 Buick Invicta Bubble Top, I bought this from the original owner a no rust California car from Sun City. It has a fresh 401 nailhead with its two speed automatic transmission with about 1500 miles on it, I drive it everywhere, ton of power! It has the rare power bucket seats, 18/20 Detroit Steel wheels and wilwood disc brakes, Dapper headlights. It has a very nice Jl audio sound system, no deck Bluetooth, it has dual exhaust with Flowmasters. It has its correct side trim for what ever reason most if not all Invictas are missing its side trim, looks good. Need to mention the speedo doesn’t work, the passenger window needs help up and It has two small scratches one near the gas filler and one near the ports nothing horrible. It is getting real hard to find these 58 to 61 GM cars, good investment. Call for questions or if you want to make a deal 1-760-529-2235 Tony.
these are amazing looking cars, maybe out of my price range but I will be making some phone calls. Thanks

I was looking at the bellflower one , it sold the day I was in contact with him, think you have to be quick, the Roseville on is very nice matching numbers and is almost to nice to modify, i really like the resto mod look.
We had a board member with a beautiful blue and white 1961 LS, he sold it to another board member (Chris a.k.a. "cluxford") from Australia. Post from June 2019: It was right on dusk which made for some cool pics, will get sunny pics tomorrow
Car has air ride, here's the for sale post by board member "61Bubbletop" (he was last seen on the board in 2007): 1961 Buick LeSabre "Bubbletop"..***SOLD*** I am selling my 1961 Buick Lesabre "Bubbletop". You may have seen it a few months ago in Popular Hot Rodding... The car is a stunning example of an unrestored car, that has just the right attitude. The car spent 1/2 its life in AZ and 1/2 in Ohio... Never any rust...spectacular original paint. The car is quite uncommon to find, many Impala, or Bel-Air bubbletops are out there, but not so many Buicks, especially one as nice as this unrestored example. This car still sports its ORIGINAL Venice Blue Irridescent and Arctic White paint, interior, glass chrome etc etc...and still runs, great I might add, on its original spark plug wires! (dated 2-Q-61). The car runs beautifully, the trim is near perfect, still has its original T-3 headlights. It has one of the nicest unrestored interiors you will find, right down to the carpet.... I bought it with 46,200 miles, and now shows 49,015 original miles, no leaks, no drips. I also have a title from Ohio in 1987 when it had only 42,500 miles..less than 4500 miles in 20 years before I got it. 2 speed dynaflow works perfectly. If you are familier with old Buicks from 60-61, you know that this car has the "heads-up display" magic mirror dash, where the gauges reflect into an adjustable mirror...incredible for 1961. Now the good stuff... The old high altitude coil springs have been swapped out for new V3.0 Swivelhead Shockwave airbags in the front and 2600lb. Firestone air springs out back... 2 Viar compressors and 2 discreetly mounted switches control the ride height, from way up...down to sitting on the ground. This system was all professionally installed, and if you know airride, you know this is not some cheapo system. The wheels are 18X8 and 20X9.5 Billet Specialties and the front disc brakes are C5 Corvette Z06 brakes. These, in addition to replaces the generator with an alternator are the only mods done to the car. You can even see the original paint stamps from the factory clear as a bell on the firewall "OK Options" and "Complete Electrical Wire Test" I gaurantee when you pull in with this rig at a show and dump the bags, the crowd will come a runnin'! The car is really that nice...and even more unique. If you dare to be different..do it in this Buick. I more than welcome you to come and see it in person, you won't be disappointed. I can honestly say that the car looks BETTER in person than in the pictures.

Does anyone know what a personlised plate is worth, the car I'm looking at has one but it will be no good to me I'm in New Zealand its BUWICKD
Ah, it is indeed with CK. From what I understand about California: if the plates are no longer registered to a vehicle they become available to anyone. From the DMV dot CA website If the requested configuration is approved, the license plates will be assigned to the vehicle selected and mailed to the address on record. The vehicle selected must be currently registered and not in a status that would prevent the assignment of the license plates. (i.e. planned non-operation, suspended registration, pending transfer of ownership, etc.). If the personalized plates are unable to be assigned to the vehicle, a notification will be sent. Failure to resolve the registration status indicated on the notification within 60 days will result in the plates being destroyed and the selection made available to others. No refunds will be issued.
Here are a couple of photos, if you are interested get me your email and I will send you his. I think he was going to ask around $20k, as far as I know he hasn't listed it for sale.
