http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/original-owner-1969-gs-400-convertible.288869/ Numbers, a MOUNTAIN of paperwork- POP, original window sticker, sales agreement, receipts, 5, yes, FIVE build sheets (still 1 probably under the gas tank), factory original interior (including the carpet), top, body panels, rims, lug nuts, center caps, etc. No rust/rot. Radiator support is pristine, as is the inner fenders. Original owner rebuilt the numbers matching engine in the late 1980's/ early 1990's. Only things not original: exhaust, paint (one crappy repaint in 1989), front suspension (I rebuilt it in 2017 and only has 200 miles on it), power disc brakes (was a manual drum car), chrome on the front bumper (had it rechromed), drivers side mirror (rechromed), door handles (rechromed), tilt, sport steering wheel. This is a factory bucket seat, column shifted convertible. Options were: buckets, remote door mirror, AM radio w/ rear speaker, F41 suspension (rear sway bar), chrome plated wheels, speed alert. Color is Crystal Blue with black top/black interior. Only reason I sold it was to help fund the purchase of my house. Otherwise, it would still be with me. I have yet to see a 69 as original and rust free as this one.
Originally from WA, and the only reason it left WA was because my buddy George wanted it more than me, lol.
Yes! Car would still be in my garage today... Mike S will chime in at any moment and say "you can have her back if you want"... LOL
