Went to the local 'yard today for misc. little stuff & took the digital camera along. Not much there for old Buicks anymore and nothing really worthy of a rescue anymore.

    Pics on the way...

68 Riv. 430's still in it. No, they're not big-port heads.

Had to ask about this one - notice the dealer plate still on it. Suffered a dash fire pulling off the lot. A GM rep came out & made them completely destroy the car so it could be declared a total loss. Less than 10 miles on the car.

66(?) Electra Taillamp bezels have some pitting, but the lenses are good. Interior's gone as is the drivetrain.

'59s are soooooo cool. The '66 in front of it had a tilt column. There's one guy I'd like to meet up with again. I was at a car show 100+ miles from here. I was visiting with a guy there and had told him I was into Buicks. He said he was restoring a 66 Skylark and really wanted to find a tilt column for it. I knew this car had one. He had it out of the car the next day - and promply put it in his 66 CHEVELLE. :stmad:

There were a few 68-70 era Skylarks, but very little left usable on them. There was a turquise 66 Special with a decent interior in it. The back seat in particular was really nice. Also a couple of 70's era Regals & Centurys & 60's LeSabres. If there's anything in particular you'd like more info on, let me know.

I need some turquoise seatbelts for a '66 Skylark/Special , any luck? Cool pictures BTW.

I don't remember seeing belts in it, but they're probably tucked under the seat. I'll check 'em out next time I'm there.

Seatbelts definitely have a way of hiding out underneath the seats, especially the rears. Check and see if any of the side trim is okay on that '66 Skylark, also looking for tail lights, exterior rearview mirror and wheel well chromes.

That 68 Riv didn't have disc brakes, did it? man, I'm about sick of looking.

Put a modern drivetrain and chassis under it and have one very unique tow rig.:TU: :TU:
