He is either stupid or a cheapskate you dont take chances if you care about what your hauling.Someone else could have got killed .I saw a 70 Boss 429 do the same thing in Tulsa 10 years ago the guy loaded it and forgot to strap it down.It dismounted at the freeway onramp.

Amazing that no one and nothing was hurt.

Not sure why people are so down on Corvette owners. There are some who have them because they think it's a status thing but I think for the most part people buy them for the same reason as most people have a muscle car, a classic or a hot rod. They have them because they enjoy them.

I know that I would love to cruise that '66.

At the track last Saturday for Heads Up Havoc and a older guys pulls in with a 65 Caprice on a trailer held down with 2 crossed tie downs running straight down from the bumper to the trailer in the rear and his winch cable pulling it forward. The group I was standing with were amazed and hoped he didnt have to go very far. He went out in the 1st round in O/C

I just cant get over the fact that someone made a conscious decision to tow a mid-year Vette with that LINCOLN! If I had the econimic wear-withall to have that car, I think I'd get a truck to tow it with. WTF?:spank:
