Yoke length??

    What length yoke do you use for your TH400 and 69-72 GS length driveshaft 54.241 inch? I have teo different yokes, one is longer than the other, but on the longer one the teeth don't start til about inch in the yoke?? The shorter one is approx 6.25 inch, and the longer 7.5 inch

    Anyone? There's pics They both slide in all the way, except the longer one goes in farther

    I believe the shorter one is correct Jason.

    The short one is for chevy & 71 up m21 & 22 muncie .

    The buick used a o-ring on the tail shaft to seal in addition to the tail housing seal . The splines start further in the yoke , the Rh one is correct for a Buick 400 trans

    Ok, well the tranny is a 73 Pontiac th400
