  3. The "Group Buy" for the 1967-68 Deluxe Steering wheel recasting is now officially "Open". Now is the time to start sending in the wheels. The latest date that the wheels must be received by Kochs is 31 March 2025 The cost for each wheel is $750. The only "up front cost" is your shipping the wheel. If you send in more than one wheel, each additional wheel will cost $700. Shipping and insurance to Kochs and return shipping will be extra. You will be contacted by Teresa to make payment for the wheel(s) and return shipping and insurance when your wheel(s) is complete.     This is my Buick Electra that was given to me in high school by my grandfather. hers some older pics. kind of a timeline.

    I do not hate this. Keep it Buick powered for sure, I'm doing a 50s style mild custom on my 73 Electra 2 door

    I was having a dj vu when I was looking at the photos in your posts.

    I don't really like what you did to the rear lights, but I think it's cool that someone is putting all that time and effort into a 4 drs car.

    I don't think I'd do that to my car, but that's some amazing fabrication work and as long as you like it keep on trucking! :TU:
    Great idea for a new grill too.

    here is my 73, you can see where I'm going, I've got lake pipes as well, will be doing a dark copper metalflake roof and a rootbeer-ish body

    I dont know if I missed it, but are you planning on paint and if so, what color(s)?

    eventually some day id like the whole car flaked rootbeer on the bottom and black on top or get a black vinyl top again.

    then you really don't want to know what I paid for mine.....that being said it was a buddy deal and this car is RUSTY, lived it's whole life in Pa and is rotten. Some of the things you can't see in the pics are the Tri-bar headlights, the trick silver paint work I did in the headlight buckets and tail light chrome, the 42 Buick hood badge and some stuff under the car, it's a work in progress of course. Being a painter and pin striper I'm having some fun along the way as well.
