Have no idea what to call these. I am restoring a set of bucket seats and one assembly was in much worse shape than the other. I ordered new spring assemblies from Ames and pretty much everything else from Todd, but need to source 1 pair of the brackets that bolt to the hinges. I can probably get away with drilling new holes and forgetting about it but wanted to see if there was a source for repros. I would be open to a good used pair as well.

What do you mean by "get away w/drilling new holes and forgetting about it..."?

on the edges where the original “slots” are rotted away, I can just relocate where the hog rings would fasten by drilling new slots in the solid metal remaining. Not ideal, but should work fine

OK - thanks for the explanation. Now I see what you were originally referring to w/the rusted out area.

You might consider running a "Parts Wanted" ad. I looked around for quite a bit last night on the internet....didn't see these in repro form. You would think they would be repro'd but who knows? You probably see the same thing....looks like sets on ebay were all sold as well.

Someone that's handy w/a MIG welder could repair yours....don't know what type of time crunch you're under.

thanks for looking! I am thinking these rusted out because the car was parked with this seat folded down, allowing a fairly large mouse nest to be built between the seat bottom and top. Maybe that’s the reason is rusted out? I had to mig in a patch panel on the bottom frame as well, around the same spot where the hinge bolts. Perhaps I’ll just repair these too. Good thing my welds won’t be visible once the seats are recovered… functional not pretty!

I appreciate your help and sourcing!

I may have a set of nice originals. I have lots of seat parts from years of doing upholstery.

    I will look today.

Thanks Duane. I know you’re busy with the move, so appreciate it. I probably would have been better off buying the set of frames you had just listed instead of working with my pair but I’m too far down the rabbit hole

I just checked and I only have 1 extra, not a pair.

I can only get you half way, unless I find some more later.

I still have to go through bunches of boxes yet.

Thanks Duane, the one gets me a lot farther ahead. I’ll send you a PM with pricing and shipping info.
