Looks good Pat. It's mostly patience & lots of clamps/screws.

    Looking good Pat.

You won't regret going with full quarters. The amount of time savings and better quality outcome makes it all worthwhile.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

You took the words out of my mouth.

It sort of looks like on the passenger side you don't have the NOS part? Or you leaving the sail panel section?

That was just the rough cut out. I will be trimming the sections like the other side. There is alot of tedious work involved, but now I know what and how to do it, I feel more confident in doing the full 1/4. I do have a full 1/4 for the passenger side as well. Hoping to have them both fully installed and ready for paint by the end of the month when my lift is back in stock and ready to bring home..

Today,I removed the rusted out trunk drop (a big PITA) and fitted the OEM one to see how it looked. Very happy I spent the time keeping it now.I also removed more of the original sheetmetal and found the 1/4 was filled with bondo, but a pretty good job. I guess the old lady wasn't as good at parking as I originally thought...lol I will start on repairing the inner wheelhouse and outer wheelhouse. My goal is to have them fitted, installed and welded by the end of the month.Thats when my lift will be in and able to be picked up. 20240503_175150.jpg 20240503_175230.jpg 20240503_180622.jpg

Awesome I was on 4 and B...I'll turn it up when I work on it tomorrow. I'll practice on some sheetmetal scraps before I use it on the car itself. I really appreciate the help!

Also when overlap welding hit the base material first and pull the weld into the piece ontop
