I bought them from Metco Motorsports there for a V6 Buick. I had to make the drivers side fit not enough space for the gasket.
Well I’m close to hitting the dyno. (I know I’ve said this before lol) Last thing I need to do is set up my sniper which leads me to this question. As for total timing initial and mechanical what would be a safe place to start with 93 octane pump gas? I have two files I made one for 32 and one for 34 total all in by 3k. Also how much vacuum advance should I add at cruse? I limited it at 7° @ 10 hg of vacuum beings I don’t think I’ll have much vacuum at idle or cruising speed. I just want to stay on the safe side and let the dyno tune dial it in.
Motor went on the dyno today. Had laptop issues so didn’t get as many pulls with the sniper after break in. With a Holley 750 max HP was 480. Sniper HP 485 max 440 average TQ 450 max 437 average on the last pull. Sniper with a little more tuning could gain a few more ponies. Dyno guys printer wasn’t working so I just took a picture of the second to last pull. He’s going send me a file when he gets a chance. Made excellent oil pressure as well. 70 at 6500 25 idle.

The laptop just didn’t communicate at first which limited time to play with timing and fuel in the peak areas.
Pretty close! I hope you're not disappointed. I think it's impressive. I wonder what difference retarding or advancing the cam would have. Sure would be fun to have a dyno & lots of time to play (err... I mean serious R&D)!
Yes that’s what I found in my machinists notes. Found it odd myself. Could be straight up was off a half degree or maybe he was a little off. Know how meticulous he was I’ll go with the former.
