They should be sued if they did that!

A slap on the wrist for GM, and everyone's increased insurance rates won't be adjusted.

That’s why you take your old-school car to the track you idiot. So far Dodge hasn’t screwed its owners yet.

Maybe its just me but, its hard to have sympathy for someone who signs up for a service that monitors your driving habits, then is shocked when that service is used against them.

Many in the suit didn’t sign up for it, the salesman did…

I believe that one model of the Charger came with roll bars installed. They know that the owner is going to race it.

But I don’t see any Dodge owners complaining about it getting spied on by their car and Dodge selling the information.

I have long felt that Chrysler has built some outstanding cars, but so have GM and Ford. Chrysler just seems to have more fun building them.

I agree, GM a Ford have both built some outstanding cars, especially Buick ! I used to love whipping the Corvette and the mighty Mustang back in 1987 in my 610 mile GN.

What year cars started doing this? Was it when OnStar came out?

Looks like GM started sharing the telematics data with Lexisnexis in ‘19.

This press release is packed full of bullshit about ‘custom tailored insurance DISCOUNTS’…

It’s difficult to find a list of who all does this, but so far, it looks like:
    GM
    Ford
    Ram (so, likely all Stellantis)
    Kia (so probably Hyundai too)
Suburu (bet they have some interesting data)
    Mitsubishi

Nissan’s not on the list, but that may be hecause no Nissan driver has insurance.

I remember when the Progressive Snapshot discount came out thinking no way in h@ll I'd do that!
