It was a great show with great people and (unusually) great weather. I am always amazed how much fun it is. We all need to pester Chris into working on the new convertible!
hmmm every year we dont have any out of Texans its sunny go figure. you missed a good show hope to see you next month .
Hey sorry for the wait. I had to migrate to the new smugmug platform so it will look different. I'm pretty sure any old links to folders and images will still work. It's a cleaner design and it feels much faster which is great.. there are a ton of photos! http://gngs.smugmug.com/Cars/Buick/20140621-All-Buick-Open-Puyall/n-ffq3t/ There are a LOT of repeats, obviously I am fascinated with the '50 Super and the Riv with the cool stripe and gangster white walls. And that gorgeous '65 Electra 4-door! It was a fun show, really good to see everyone. Trying to make the nationals, too.
Very good pics! Wish I could have made it this year. Especially since the weather was perfect. My dad was pretty happy that day. He won first place in his red 68 convert. Definitely won't miss the nationals this year.
Excellent pictures Randy! You are a great photographer. Get ready for the Nationals! That should be about 900 pictures. Don't run out of film! Buick Eric / Oregon :3gears:
Thanks to all for posting pics. There are a BUNCH of nice Buicks up there in Washington. My car actually spent some of it's life in Washington state, although it wasn't as nice as the cars in your show by the time it got to me. I do believe it being a western car did save it's life. I'd like to visit Washington some day. Nick
Great pictures Randy! I'm sorry I missed the event but looking forward to seeing everyone in Portland!
Nick, be careful about visiting Washington... I tried that in 1974 and have been here ever since. And I grew up in Chicago!
That's probably not a bad idea. Other than family and friends, I don't see what the attraction is here. I'm ready for a change of scenery.
