The 11.5 ET Streets are not quite a 9in foot print but the center section is about 10.5 if I recall right. I have run a 15x28x9 ET Drag with room to spare, has anyone put a 10 or 10.5 slick under a stock Regal???
I use to run a 10 inch hoosier on my car. I just had to trim the inner well a lil and push out tha quarter sum ou: tha car sat perfect but when you left it would rub the quarter a lil banging and it fit nicely
Since this one will never win a show I don't think swinging another hammer at it will bother it much :TU: Been known to use the sheet metal nibbler in excess at times as well.. lol..
Thanks Dawg, happy to here that. Couldn't you squeak that Regal into the 10's with that nice fall air??? Running - they make a tool that you can roll the lip with.
"Running - they make a tool that you can roll the lip with." You know, I am going to look for that tool..... We usually slit the stuff then hammer it in .. wait three years then Rust!!!!!! I think i'll chat with the body guy this week..
Here's where i'm at guys, COMENT ON THIS! Hey guys, no worries about chattin on my thread, i don't mind, i like reading everything on this site so here's my story now WOOHOO! i'm not selling the Regal. I am picking up a LOT of parts cheap! Ford 9 inch for a G body, with mid three gears and detroit locker adjustable uppers, boxed lowers. with drive shaft to fit with th 400 4 wheels/tires, street slicks on back, good tires on front, only about 100 miles on set. aluminum radiator for g body windsheild (not cracked!) full black interior less headliner (buckets, monte interior though, may just sell it) might also get in the package a snyper nitrous system, a fuel cell, a pump. hmmm.... what else...... oh rear has disk brakes . ANY IDEAS on anything else i should get from this car? it's an 8's monte SS. he's keeping the motor/trans (buick 455 and SP400) heh, go figure The floors rotted out when he wasn't looking, went to move it in the driveway and stepped in, through the rust carpet is still good though . all for the sweet price of on ford 9 inch for a 69 camino, the price of the rear alone who loves that guy! I DO! WOOHOOO! Now i'm going to rebuild my 350 and find a nice little ride to put that in, maybe i'll go turbo with it! i'm re inspired! i'm going cruising!
Just found these guys. I assume everything is new. They don't give too many details in the link but after what some guys spend on used stuff (myself included) this may be an option: http://www.gbodyparts.com/product_i...d=208&osCsid=4e370deef6f38cf2980ecd8e166bc50c
