Thanks guys...I feel like an expectant Father... I can imagine that Dave feels much the same way..
I love that color! But maybe it will be too much of a good thing? I can't wait to see it together. Since you're on the Right Coast, I may have to paint mine the same color so that there's balance in the universe. Keep the photos coming
Don't do that! I love the color you have on yours! We just need to meet in the middle and that should balance out the universe. It would at least balance out the folks in Oklahoma City. That's about half way isn't it?
OH MAN!!!ou: You Electra guys are really something else.."Balance Out the Universe...." uzzled:
Mike n Dave, Oh might balancers of the Universe..coastal cousins of the cosomos..this Cat has a few more pics of his feline boat..(dam this is off the chain...) so almighty purveyors of the kingdom of Buick..(David Dunbar Buick is surely rolling in his grave by now...) here are some pics of my CAT ... the latest... Dam that was very painful... -SGM
Oh my, you are getting close! I giggle like a school girl when I think of having mine on the road again. My wife is even getting excited about the boat! That makes even better! I can't wait to see the color go on. Keep em' coming!:Brow:
Yeah I'm ready to get it back and all put together. Probably another week before the paint. How's that aircraft carrier of yours coming along?
I'm looking for a radiator support right now, and as soon as I have that, we can remount the motor and trans, then the body will be done. So I really about 2 weeks away from having the body done. Then starts the list of chrome to try and find... I'm dreading that!
Yeah I screwed up in the pic dept. Anyway I've got updates as it is.. Here she is with the basecoat and one coat of clearcoat. Three more to go..
sweet yours might be done befor mine........lol i should be picking mine up 17-18 of this month. scott
Sweet! Thats got to be a good feeling! I almost went with that color for my Riv. I was thinking that if it was to intense I would add a black vinyl top to tone it down.
Well, she was delivered to the house this weekend and it looks great! I am really excited to see all of the sheet metal back on the car. Now I have a lot of work to do. I am still thinking tan interior, tan top. Any other ideas?
Dave she looks great!! Man I love that color on it. I like the idea of a Tan interior, but was thinkin a white top. Hell I dunno, it's your baby... Can't wait to see the progress...
Looks nice Dave! :beers2: We went out to the MN street rod nationals yesterday and saw several cars that were painted in that type of color. Really like it! Though orange is my favorite, so I am biased. 11,600 cars at that show!
Thanks all. Sarge, I like the idea of a white top... :idea2: That might look awesome! I'm also thinking about a set of 20" rims to give it the Chip Foose look, but I'll tell ya, no one really knows what will fit it. I know the lug pattern is 5x5, and I'm probably going to have to stay with a 7.5" wide rim just so they will fit under the fenders. Anyone know what will fit it?
