Looking for a 65-67 GS hardtop or sedan. Must have presentable paint, doesn't have to be fresh paint, but not an earl Schieb /Maaco orange peel job. Prefer low option car, don't really want Air Conditioning, but I won't turn away the right car because it has air. Will also look at a car that needs interior or engine/driveline work. Most importantly though, is Nice body/paint. Do not reply here please, PM me with what you have, or email me directly at stg1_miller@frontier.com Thanks, Tom I edited my original ad to remove a price range. Simply email me with what you have and your price, and I will decide if I can afford it, or make provisions to afford it. I'm a serious buyer, but I'm also impatient, so if you think you want to sell your car, you better get my attention before I lose interest in a 65-67, and search for something different. Quite frankly, I'm a little disappointed with the lack of response so far, or maybe a better term would be surprised by the lack of response.o No:
Hey Tom, You just posted an hour ago, give it some time bro. Might be a little hard to find exactly what you're looking for.
If it's this hard to find a 65-67GS, then I'll go look for a different year/model,or buy a Chevelle or something.:Smarty: I can't believe that there aren't any 65-67's available with good paint.o No:
Not a GS, but looks decent and it's in Michigan..................http://www.cars-on-line.com/66452.html Here's a 65 in Nevada w/430...........................................http://www.cars-on-line.com/67054.html
Tom, I have two 65 Gran Sports, one is a numbers match good running car, but needs body and paint. It has been for sale since last summer with no takers. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?250782-1965-Skylark-Gran-Sport&highlight= My other car is in excellent condition with original engine, having been converted from auto to a 4 speed, but has most of the available factory options. It also has dual four barrel carbs. I don't want to move this car right now, but if the price was right............... Neither car seemed to fit your parameters, thus I did not reply earlier. Have you asked over at 65gs.com?
Thanks for the reply's guy's. Again, I will stress that I'm only interested in TRUE Gran Sports. The cleanest of skylarks will require paintwork to remove trim, emblems to clone a GS , so that is not an option. I have a good lump sum of CASH, and my bank says my credit is excellent for the rest if needed. STILL LOOKING.....AND WAITING.........EMAIL ME!!!!!!!!!!VERY IMPATIENT:laugh:
The bird(skylark) has landed. Thanks to all who replied, my 65 Gran Sport sedan was delivered this morning. Thanks to Mike Sobotka for delivering the car.
