I'd like to introduce you to Andrew. (Blue shirt) One of my son's buddies. He and my son Paul (penguins jersey) are 6 years old. They just finished Kindergarten together. Having a son the same age as Andrew, I feel I need to help the family and share this as much as I can. To make a long story short Andrew has a rare brain tumor. For the second time in his short life. He responded well in the past to treatments and made an astounding recovery and has been very well for the past couple years. But some new spots have showed up on his latest MRI, and he has began to limp and have balance issues again. At this point he has had all the radiation the US FDA will allow. He's only on steroids right now and has good and bad days. Next step is treatment outside the US, and a Dr in Mexico is reviewing. They have a new way of treating that is not approved here in the US yet. It's a more specific and direct application of chemo and radiation by going up through the groin in a vein all the way to the brain. Andrew has no time to waste and needs this treatment right away. Traveling to another country and paying out of pocket for a treatment of this kind is immensely expensive. I can't imagine how I'd do it but I know I'd do what I had to if it were my son. If you would like to make a donation you can do so directly with Paypal https://www.paypal.me/CurtisStanley/ Just send me a note or reply here to let me know. Every $1 counts! The family gets 100% of all donations through me. (gofundme takes 8-9%) However if you'd rather give to the GoFundMe that's awesome too. It's been loosing momentum and could use a boost from the Buick community. You can actually read more of Andrew's story there too. GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/fynaz-saving-andrew Today I thought what can I do to make Andrew's day a little brighter. So Paul and I hopped in the Buick and went to his house. It was raining but ... it's just water right! And for a good cause! Look at his smile! Andrew's favorite part was my 4 note horns lol. He laughed so much. I thank you all so much for any donations and thoughts and prayers! Sharing a couple pictures from today too. Andrew is wearing the blue shirt. Curtis
Curtis Im going to throw this out there but PLEASE look up on facebook DARREN STEVEN MILLER. He is a long time friend of mine and his story about curing his own stage 4 cancer is every bit truthful. People young and old have beat this disease with indica cannabis oils. He has video on what to do and numerous testimonies from people who should be dead. Its a GOD created plant. It can save Andrews life! Andrews parents can contact Darren. I know people think it is taboo but it does save lives!!! Please pass this along for Andrew.
His PayPal address is about halfway down in the first post. It's kinda camoflaged so you have to look for it, but it's a direct link.
Thank you gentlemen! Paypal is https://www.paypal.me/CurtisStanley/ GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/fynaz-saving-andrew
Great news was given late last night The Dr in Mexico has agreed to treat Andrew - The shot at beating this is real Now come the expenses. The family is ready to go. Andrew will travel with his Mother, his Father will remain here and work (he's trying to get FLMA but because he was off work and deployed in Afghanistan last year it may not be possible - go figure) Paypal is https://www.paypal.me/CurtisStanley/ GoFundMe https://www.gofundme.com/fynaz-saving-andrew Remember, GoFundMe takes a 9% cut (they have to make money) But 100% though paypal will get to the family. Please please.. keep the momentum going. Thoughts, prayers, donations...
Great update for today... Andrew and his mom leave for Mexico tomorrow (Wednesday) and his first treatment is in Friday! Things are moving fast. I got some more donations this evening. Thank you all so much
Andrew left for Mexico today. Thank you all for the donations thus far. He's a special kid... the particular cancer he has is very rare. 1% of kids survive 2 years. He's now 6. He beat it once, he can do it again.
I thank you all again. Of all the people I asked for donations....Buick guys alone were responsible for $1000 in donations. I am truly humbled to be part of such a group. Please keep Andrew in your thoughts/prayers for his first treatment tomorrow If anyone wants to still donate I can still accept via Paypal. I sent $2000 to Andrew's Mom and Dad this morning. I know that takes a tiny weight off their shoulders today.
