LOL!!! He said you were a weirdo! He wants me to let him know when your going to be at Bellmore again. he's got a few more things to tell you about. Do you want me to give him your number? Smart and cute! Besides being an expert wrench, I can score the hotties too Not sure about the blackwall BFG's on this car. I have a set of F70-14 Firestone Wide Ovals just sitting around doing nothing. I think that would really round out the ratty "barn find" look. What say you guys?
Too fancy... what you need is a pair of whitewalls on the front, curb rash on the passenger one, then the LR should be an off brand raised white letter tire, with the letters out, but ugly yellow faded... and then the RR would be a blackwall of questionable heritage.. If your going ugly, go all the way man..
Snow tires!! Remember them?? Everyone's garage growing up had a set of snow tires mounted on black steelies leaning against the wall!
No, man, retreads!! At least on the rear, then two different brand white letters on the front! Patrick
Weirdo huh. I'll take that as a compliment. The whole time he was talking to me, I was hearing the theme from The Twilight Zone playing in my head. You sure can pick em.
And the GS made its first trip to the supermarket- And on the way we stopped at Home Depot for some fence stain! -
How come the groceries aren't in the trunk? I would love to have a daily driver GS. It truly has to be one of the most enjoyable cars to own. No worries and all of the same fun.
I think you already know the answer. And your right, Im getting more use and enjoyment out of this rot box than I do with my other cars. I had a blast with that $2800 white Skylark convertible I had a few years ago too That's what they're for!!!
Just wanted to give you guys a "beater update". As of today the beater just turned 2100 miles on the odometer on the way to Starbucks since the upgrades last year. Not bad. One of those cars that you only need to wash and change the oil. Well, maybe just change the oil
Cool beater, its fun to kick the doors closed every now and then. You can get in and out of traffic easy in a good beater, people move out of your way instead of speeding up so you cant get ahead of them. Dam man, you can just barrel over any railroad crossing too. No worries. !
