Kinda looks like the re paint covered more rust than claimed..
Still kinda cool with the simplicity of this car and having the extra pedal..

Yea,I definitely think there was previous rust, and now more,so half of the bod might come up missing,if you strip it down. Is a cool car though.
    Breakinbuick11,
How close is that to you for you to look at?

Stewartstown is an hour south or so. It’s basically in Maryland. I do a lot of work with a company in Shrewsbury, which is about 15 minutes from stewartstown. If someone is serious about it, I can try and look at it this weekend/Wednesday of next week.

2 more barrels would make that car very intriguing.

    That's only a 30 minute modification ...

I know a few guys building either pure stick or FAST,and they are going to run a 3-speed stick.
Not sure what they figured-out with that.

3speeds are awesome with a steep gear

If you take the factory Hurst Dual Pattern "synchro-loc" 3 speed shifter and knock one roll pin out, it basically becomes a 3 speed Verti-gate shifter. In other words a straight line shifter

Not for me it isn't. Nothing ever goes quick for me. You need to swap intake to do a 4 barrell don't you? 30 minutes? Maybe on TV. :D

Doing a swap on a Nailhead is like 10 minutes:)

I want to see a video of someone swapping intakes and carbs and hooking everything back up and tweaking and tuning all in 10-30 minutes tops.

I don't know about the fine tuning,:) but not having to touch the thermostat on a nailhead make it nice. and yes there's always something that seems to go wrong:(

They did a good job of painting all the door jams and the under hood pics of the fenders are red?? Only little mark of maby silver in picture #10 a bit up in the inner window jam.
Still doesn't feel right that it was red..

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

Spare tire's rim looks like factory red.
