Briz, once your ready to go to production, perhaps you can do like an "order forn." That way you know how much to invest, charge and your not left with a couple of cases of stickers to meter out over the years. since you took the lead and putting in the leg work, i would be willing to firmly commit to purchase pre-production (once the proof is finalized). hector (hvramesq)
Years ago, I ordered 3 sets of the GSCA repo M/T Super Scavenger headers. When I placed the order I also asked for some Gus decals. When I got the headers I forgot all about the decals until a couple months ago I was moving one of the header boxes when I noticed a small envelope taped to the side of the box. Sure enough it was the Gus decals!! I don’t know which version these are but in brand new, un-faded condition they look exactly like the one posted above. I don’t think they were ever extremely bright... Even though I have theses, Briz I would still be interested in 10 more. Thanks for grabbing this bull by the horns Briz, or grabbing GUS by the Tail!! LOL
Good idea. I tink I'll just go with the min order of 250 of each type and see whats left over after the dust settles. Theres probably 100 already called for on this thread
Just clicked on this thread! I'd be interested in at least 4 or 5 of the old style stick on decals. I still have the original sticker on my Riviera from when I first joined the GS club back in 84
I have a few spares of the later decal; I’d prefer to have the old ‘Gus’. That’s what you’re making, right? I’ll buy a half dozen of them. Thanks, Patrick
The ones in your photos are the second pattern. The first pattern was a different design and had brighter colors. I meant if they had to use the second style, to try and brighten up the colors. But now they have a good copy of the first style so that is not an issue.
I find it amazing how many of us still want these. Maybe RL should have made another round - people are clearly willing to buy them.
Richard does not want to mess with it which is why he gave me the thumbs up and tools I needed to get it done. I live about 45 miles from him and we see each other regularly at different local events. Should have them done way before the Nats But ya never know when ya have to depend on someone else to get stuff done
