I've seen them mentioned a few times on here , with good reason . pretty interesting stuff for a couple different reasons . if you did not catch it , on SNL tonight . hopefully I can stay awake through the easily written , no thinking involved , rehashed trump skits n jokes . maybe they'll have some new good funny stuff on ! maybe not . anyway - good air time for GVF .
Awesome thanks for posting. http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/jimmy-fallen-the-tonight-show.337228/page-2
Nothing funny on SNL anymore......i don't even watch for the two songs they allow the musical act that is featured that night. Peace WildBill
I'll check out their performance on YouTube tomorrow as I've been a fan of theirs for longer than most. But SNL hasnt been worth a rats #$$ in a very long time.
15 minutes in and penis first skit has me turning it off ...pedophilia...just mentioned...SNL SUCKS......turn off NOW ! Peace WildBill

The band is from Frankenmuth MI. The name came from a real woman, 87 year old Greta Van Fleet, a resident of Frankenmuth.
GVF had my attention when they first hit the scene but too much of that high pitched voice gets irritating.
Thought they sucked......lead singer screaming vocals and the two guitar players looked like they each had a hemorrhoid flair up as they played. I've heard high school garage bands that are better. Strange act to me !
With the outfit the singer was wearing in that video you might think so. What kind of outfit do you call that? Are those the Drapes from the hotel they stayed at the night before?
Robert Plant, Jimmy page and John Paul Jones must get a good laugh every time They see them. It's a shame though the rock 'n' roll is dead there's no future, muscle cars will live forever and so will vintage 60s and 70s rock 'n' roll music.
I figure the lead singer must have a huge ego. Every song ive heard starts with him screaming for no apparent reason. He needs to cool off. I'm happy to hear the old style rock and roll coming back but these kids just don't do it for me.
I like them (though the SNL performance wasn't their finest....). Yes, the fashions are...ummm..."interesting", but whatever, different strokes and all. I get it if their music isnt everyone's taste though. I have a pretty broad taste in music, but generally gravitate towards classic rock or hard rock (I lump 90's grunge into that hard rock category i.e. Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, etc). Generally my favorites are Zep, Rush, AiC (though I've been on a Genesis kick lately) with a healthy dose of Breaking Benjamin and a few similar "newer" rock bands. But what I don't get is the same people that say new rock sucks, isn't rock, blablabla will follow up by criticizing these guys as "Zeppelin rip-offs". Well what do they want?? They claim to miss that era rock vibe, these guys bring it back, and then those same people chastise them for their sound being to similar. Having a "classic rock sound" is inherently going to sound like a well known classic rock band in one way or another. You're just not going to get one without the other. But some folks can find negativity in any thing I guess.
