Me and my dad went to A swap meet this morning and A guy had A bunch of stuff on A poster for sale.I just couldn't past up A deal on two BBB 430 motors for 50$.My dad bought 10 sbc,s motors that had been in A barn since the late 60 s,very cheap. So next week end me and him are taking A low boy trailer and driving about two hours away to get our motors.
Hey thanks, I didn't need them but to good of A deal to pass up.How can you tell it has the big port heads ,I don't know A much about 430,s.
every big port 430 I have tore apart had that funny runner above the exhaust ports .....there is cast flanges thete but they are not drilled and tapped. wish I knew what they were going to do with those. sure someone out there know.
It was going to be for AIR injection iirc, but yes 98% of the heads with that runner are the big ports "2985" is one casting #
