Gary (BUQUICK), I saved about 27 of those pics to my computer for reference on my restoration. Tell me the ones you want and I can send them to you.

Goat Herder, if possible, would you send those pictures to me at gford455@embarqmail.com? I am currently doing a 72 Stage1 and would very much like to have them for reference. Thank you in advance.

I think that car has reached its ceiling.

    But that's just me.

Documentation ? He's not meaning to prove mileage, he means that its a GS Stage 1 and it had an owner, carefully worded me thinks.Add says 14,xxx since "built", by whom Buick orrrrr????? and it may have "some" original paint, but the amount of orange peel on that drivers fender and door is not factory, the rear end isn't a 1972 either, I have only seen that cover on 8.2 of 1970 and older Buicks? Am I wrong on that? plus many of the interior pieces have been replaced like the rear window quarters, no screw in the upper portion on factory ones IMO on 1972 , and his liberal use of the word MINT is alarming...look at the headliner........ so again the car is being represented as ORIGINAL, but definitely not a SURVIVOR by any stretch. True 19 code Black though which is a plus, but the car has been, embellished and so is the Ad.....lol..........Bench seat, and Worth $60k? I'm thinking $40-45k.

The rear end is correct. It is a 8.5 10 bolt, which is correct for 71-72 cars.

The 70’s are 8.2 10 bolt, but do not have the “ears” on the pumpkin at 5 and 7 o’clock like that one does.

Yes, but it has way too much undercoating on it.

As several have confirmed, the rearend is correct, the extra screw in the rear door panel is also correct for this car. The undercoating is not from Buick but likely added by the original dealer. I know of two other unrestored, low mileage black Buicks that have original paint and they have noticeable orange peel in the paint, similar to how this car appears. Hopefully this car will sell to someone that will take the car to events so we can all admire it in person.

This car would benefit from a diesel fuel bath . It will clean up nicely..
