    Did you buy this car?

So I guess this was the one I saw at the Charlotte Auto Fair! I obviously didn't look at it too closely. I need to find the pictures that I took of it. I know I had a picture of the "For Sale" sign with the price & phone number.

That car was originally sold in the Bronx at Argo Buick. Was drag raced at various NY & NJ tracks & then went south from what I remember.

Would this happen to be the same car that was formerly owned by Jimmy Jackson down here in TN in the late '80s and early '90s?

Thanks for confirming. I figured it must be the same car because I thought his car was originally gold and had been changed to black and I thought I remember that it had a black bucket seat interior which would have been dyed to black as PR mentioned in this thread. At a casual glance the car looked good so I had no idea of what was hiding within. I remember it had a personalized license plate back in those days that said "1 of 7" and I remember telling Jimmy that it couldn't be 1 of 7 because there at least 10 4-speeds floating around at the time in the GSCA. :)

I had one back in the day that was a stripper. Power disc was standard on Stage 1 & mine had rear derost because NY mandated it. Manual steering with factory steering stabilizer with the center link that had an extra hole for the stabilizer. I believe Mike Sobotka owns it now
